The Evergreen Wings, (Chapter C, of the Gold Wing Touring Association - GWTA) – a motorcycle group located in Everett - is currently holding a special clothing drive to collect NEW (in the original packaging) socks and underwear for children ages 0 – 18 years.  This Drive benefits Christmas House, a charity organization which served over 9500 children from low income families living in and around Snohomish County last Christmas, by providing them with new toys and clothing. Every year the Evergreen Wings conducts a Drive to help with toys or clothing which Christmas House finds to be in short supply.  Last year the Evergreen Wings collected over 1300 stuffed animal toys; this year we’re seeking donations for socks and underwear. Snohomish County residents have been very generous when solicited in the past, and we hope that, even in these hard economic times, the public will step forward and contribute to our cause.  The Drive runs until December 4, 2009.  Donated items may be dropped off at Everett Powersports, 215 SW Everett Mall Way, Everett, WA.  If anyone has questions, please contact Kathy at 206-940-4990.
